The new combined team of Sedgefield and Lancaster Waterpolo players upset the favourites for the National Under-17 Championships, Cheltenham, with a tremendous 9-6 win at Walsall.
Players from Sedgefield to play a part in the run to the final are Great Britain Junior Under-17s leading player Scott Carpenter, Chris McEneany, Chris Gilbertson, Sarah Scott, Phillip Moore, Gareth Butcher and Ben Richardson
