PUPILS are getting inside knowledge about the growing e-commerce industry from a County Durham firm.
Youngsters from St Johns RC Comprehensive, Bishop Auckland, visited Holiday CD, based in the E-Business Centre in Consett. The company turns holiday brochures into compact discs, which are sent to tour operators and travel agents worldwide.
Staff showed the pupils how their theories of Internet business are put into practice.
Information technology teacher Chris Allan said: "Getting the students to visit a successful e-commerce business has been a great help in providing information for their ICT in Business assignments."
