POLICE investigating a string of distraction burglaries have arrested a couple in their twenties.
They are in custody for questioning about offences in Hartlepool where elderly or vulnerable people have been targeted. The woman has been questioned about 12 house burglary offences and the man is suspected of being involved jointly in five offences.
