FATHERS and sons are being encouraged to spend time together at a series of events.
While having a male theme, the events are open to other family members, and include football coaching, karate demonstrations, wellie throwing, and tug-of-wars.
Events take place today, at Thorney Close Action & Enterprise Centre, and on Thursday, at Plains Farm Primary School, both in Sunderland, from 6pm to 8.30pm,
Admission is free, and sponsors include SRB rounds III, V and VI, Active West, City of Sunderland Sports Development, and SAFC Football in the Community.
