KEEP-FIT fans from across the region joined forces for the first meeting of an association's branches.
More than 220 women from North Yorkshire, the North-East and the North-West took part in the day of dance, fitness and movement at Hummersknot School, in Darlington.
It was the first time any regional groups of the Keep-Fit Association have met to work out together.
Sessions were led by teachers and there were demonstrations by youth groups and older people.
The day was such a success that there are plans to repeat it next year.
