HUNDREDS of vacancies and training opportunities will be on offer at a call centre training and jobs fair next month.

The event will be held at Peter-lee Leisure Centre, County Durham, from 10am to 3pm, on Thursday, July 10.

Employers from Bracken Hill Business Park, such as npower and EDS, will be at the fair, which has been organised by JobCentre Plus, Easington Action Team for Jobs and Easington District Council.

Jobseekers will also have the opportunity to find out about local training opportunities.

Durham District JobCentre Plus recruitment consultant Susan Moses, said: "Over the coming months there will be hundreds of vacancies at Bracken Hill Business Park.

"With excellent career pros-pects and flexible working hours to suit individual circumstan-ces, there is sure to be something for anyone looking for a career in the call centre sector."

Starting salaries at the park range from £10,000 to £13,000 and there are a variety of full and part-time positions, ranging from help desk operators to customer service advisors.
