Former Hartlepool United defender Graeme Lee last night marked his Sheffield Wednesday in style, when he bagged a hat-trick for his new club, writes NICK LOUGHLIN. Lee, who completed a move to Hillsborough last week, was joined on the scoresheet by another former Pool favourite when Gordon Watson netted the final goal in Wednesday's 5-0 win over VV Dovo. Last season, Lee was part of the Pool squad that won two games in Holland 12-0. Hillsborough boss Chris Turner has returned to the Netherlands with his new squad and admitted: "Last year we (Hartlepool) won both games 12-0, but this year I'm told we will have better opposition.''
Watson, who left Pool when his contract expired on July 1, is on trial at Wednesday and is hoping to link up again with his former manager.
Pool head for Holland next week, when they play Heerenveen and Top Oss. Neale Cooper's squad will be based at the Dutch FA (KNVB) training camp.
