PEOPLE living in Red Hall, Darlington, are to have their say on the running of the area, thanks to a council initiative.
A residents' participation compact is being developed to enable people to be involved in the decision-making process.
Through negotiation and consultation they will be able to make Darlington Borough Council and other service providers aware of their aspirations and needs.
The residents' association has sent out questionnaires to find out what problems there are with the estate and what could be improved.
It will analyse the results and hold meetings with council managers and residents to discuss the concerns.
