COUNCILLORS will today visit the Grade II-listed Harewood Grove, in Darlington, to decide if a house can be built in its grounds.
The plan to build the two-storey property had been expected to be approved by Darlington Borough Council's planning committee last week.
But following objections from residents, members decided to defer their decision until they had seen the site.
The plan will go back before the committee on July 30.
