The Market Place in Bishop Auckland will provide the stage for the town's first car show.
New models from car dealers Elliotts, SG Petch and Oakley will be on display from 10am to 4pm on Friday, July 25.
The public are invited to view a range of new vehicles and offered the chance to examine a rally car.
The event has been arranged by the Bishop Auckland Town Centre Forum, with support from Wear Valley District Council.
