NORTH-EAST racing star Warren Hughes will meet fans and sign autographs this weekend when he makes a pit-stop at a North-East racing circuit.

The Sunderland driver is aiming to pick up more points in Rounds 11 and 12 of the British Touring Car Championship at Croft Circuit, in North Yorkshire today and tomorrow.

Hughes will be meeting fans at Reg Vardy's MG Rover stand at 2pm tomorrow.

At the same time, visitors can enter a free prize draw to win a £10,000 holiday or a car.

Fans unable to get a ticket for the race can still take part in the competition by visiting the Reg Vardy dealership, part of the Motor Village at Croft Road in Darlington, and filling in their vehicle details.

Dealership general manager Peter Stewart said: "We are delighted to welcome local driver Warren Hughes to Croft."
