GARDENING enthusiasts in North Yorkshire are preparing for their annual show.
The Northallerton and District Horticultural Society's annual show takes place at Northallerton Town Hall on Saturday, August 16.
It is open to the public from 1pm to 4.15pm, with trophies presented by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor David Blades, at 3.45pm.
There will be 134 classes covering fruit, vegetables, flowers, preserves, honey, cakes, pastries, photography and a young person's category. Admission is 20p.
Exhibitors with more than ten entries get in free. The closing date for entries is 9.30pm on Friday August 15.
