A PRIVATE collection of more than 100 photographs and memorabilia charting the history of Guisborough Cricket Club from the 19th Century will be on view at the club on Monday, July 21, at 4pm.

Historian Stewart Clarke built up the collection over 40 years and has now handed over the photographs to the club.

MARK APPEARS: DJ Mark Page is making an appearance in Hartlepool tomorrow night. The driving force behind the town's radio station, Pool FM 107.5, will DJ at Time and Tide as part of ongoing appearances by members of the team. He said: "Being out and about is all part of our radio work and there will be some fun party stuff on in the evening. It is all part of our build-up to our autumn return to the airwaves."

BUTTERWICK WINNER: A bottle of liqueur is waiting to be collected by the winner of the fourth prize in a raffle organised by The Butterwick Hospice. WURLITZER CONCERT: Penny Weedon will play a Wurlitzer theatre organ on Sunday, July 27, at James Finegan Municipal Hall, in Eston, near Middlesbrough, at 2.30pm. Admission is £2.50, and £1.50 for concessions, at the door.

AFTERNOON RAMBLE: Cleveland Ramblers Association has organised a circular walk in Glaisdale, on Sunday, July 20, starting at 2pm. Walkers should meet at Beggars Bridge, Glaisdale, grid reference 784055. Walkers are invited to bring well-behaved dogs.

CENTRE FIRE: Firefighters were called to Parkfield Hall Day Centre, in Parliament Street, Stockton, yesterday. A small amount of roof felt and timber were damaged by the fire, which was out by the time firefighters arrived at 10.15am. No one was injured.

TOMBOLA STALL: The women's section of the Royal British Legion will run a tombola stall near the old Redcar Clock, in Redcar High Street, next Saturday, from 10am to 3pm.

COFFEE MORNING: The South Cleveland branch of Diabetes UK is holding a coffee morning and book sale at Sunnyfield House, Westgate, Guisborough, today, from 9am to noon.
