The Men's National Autograss Championships, hosted by the Dales League, (Yorkshire Dales and Solway Autograss Clubs), will be held on August 2 and 3 at Hillside House Farm, Thornborough, Bedale, North Yorkshire.
A total of 400 competitors, who have had to qualify at their own clubs, will race in two heats on Saturday and one on Sunday. Finalists will race class finals on Sunday with the winners taking part in a handicapped race to find the Men's National Champion.
The event can be found on the B6267 off the A1 South of Bedale and North of Ripon.
Autograss racing was featured in the BBC television programme, Blue Peter, last month when one of the presenters raced at York Autograss Club.
This international event attracts drivers and followers from all over England, Wales and Ireland and I am sure will be of interest to your readers. It will not be held this far north again for a number of years, if ever
