Crook 4D's League: Crook Royal Sun moved to the top of both the darts and dominoes sections after they beat the visiting Crook Coach and Horses A in both games.

The Sun now lead the Coach B by six points in the darts section and they lead the Coach A by four points in the dominoes section.

Tow Law Coors

Tow Law New Market B were pushed off the top perch in the table by the visiting Esh Stag's Head, who pulled off a remarkable recovery. The New Market won both the trebles and then had singles wins from Gavin Tennant, Joe Jordon and Malcolm Boughey to go one short of victory. However the Stag's fought back with singles wins from Keith Brown, Tom March and Gordon Tucker and went on to complete the victory by winning all three doubles.

Newhouse Club only dropped one point on their visit to Hamsteels Inn, who had a singles win from John Hanley, whilst Tow Law New Market A only dropped singles to Keith Starr and Dave Metcalfe on their visit to Esh McKennas. This pushed the New Market A into top spot, one ahead of Newhouse Club, who are now three ahead of the New Market B.

Malcolm Boughey hit a maximum for Tow Law New Market B, with George Blakey hitting 140 for Billy Row Club. The best check out of the week came from John McCorquodale of Billy Row Club with a 130 finish.

Crook Ladies League

Crook Belle Vue went down by the odd point at Crook Queen's Head B and so lost their sole right to claim the top spot in the table for Crook Travellers Rest, odd point winners at Tow Law Station, moved up to join them. The former leaders from the Victoria Club went down by three points at Crook Jelly's B so that both teams now share the third place, three points ahead of Crook Queen's Head A, who have a match in hand.

The leading individual scorers were June Barron 140 and Jackie Clark 135 for Jelly's B, Margaret Stewart 140, Marion Hesp and Heidi Moses 121 each for the Queen's Head A, Karen Moses 140 and Ann Varley 134, 132 and 125 for the Travellers, Sharon Tiomoney 140 for the Queen's head B, Gloria Jones 125, Val Fets 124 and Alice Brennan 120 for the Black Horse

Wear Valley Ladies League

At the Annual General Meeting Irene Clark was returned as the Chair/secretary and Joan Hodgson as the delegate's representative. However the treasurer, Kim Pritchard resigned through work commitments after two years excellent service. There were volunteers from the meeting and the position was left to be filled at the next meeting.

The league has been extended to 16 teams for the coming season. They are Crook Bar 56, Byers Green Club, Willington Brewer's Droop, Crook Coach and Horses, Tow Law Dan's Castle, Stanley Earl Derby, Crook Golden Fleece, Crook Mill House, Hunwick Quarry, Byers Green Royal Oak, Crook Royal Sun, Howden Sunnydene Lodge, Crook Surtees, Crook White Swan, Willington Cricket Club and Crook Olde Horse Shoe.
