FIFTY health workers from Darlington Primary Care Trust have undergone a day-long training course in resuscitation techniques to enable them to offer emergency life support.
Claire Charlton, a first aid instructor at Langton Medical Training, in Newton Aycliffe, guided the office workers through a variety of techniques that could be used to help someone who has collapsed.
These included checking for common dangers, clearing the subject's airways, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and how to put children and adults into the recovery position.
