A GROUP which organises dance sessions for children with special needs has been given £1,500.
Darlington-based Charity Productions, which hires Royal Academy of Dance teachers to hold workshops for youngsters in the North-East, was given the cash by the town's Abbey National.
Pauline Aitken, from the group, said: "We are really grateful for the funding.
"It will be spent on a two-day dance workshop in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church Hall next month and will also provide funding for dance teachers in special needs schools in the area."
