Staff at a supermarket attempted to eat as many custard pies as they could in two minutes to raise awareness of a children's charity .
The staff from Tesco, in Hartlepool, took part in the Custard Caper organised by Barnardo's.
The group of five had to get through as many tea-plate size pies as they could and managed to gobble 15 between them.
Barnardo's is the supermarket's chosen charity this year.
Angela Robinson from Barnardo's said: "The staff got stuck in and managed to polish off three pies each. It was just a great way to raise awareness."
