POLICE have given descriptions of two men they believe went on a day-long spending spree across the North-East with counterfeit credit cards.
The men first used the two cards in Cleethorpes, before visiting shops in Grimsby, Hull, Darlington, Durham, Team Valley, Gateshead, Newcastle and Gosforth.
They obtained almost £1,300, mainly in cashback payments, on April 23. One of the pair was caught on a security camera in Darlington.
Both men are white, in their early twenties and of medium build. One had short hair and was wearing a blue open-necked long-sleeved shirt and grey trousers. The other had dark hair, shaved at the back and sides. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt with a white top underneath.
