The Forestry Commission is staging a host of eco-events at Hamsterley Forest, County Durham, from this weekend.
On Saturday, from 1pm, there will be a guided cycle ride exploring routes around the 4,000 acre woodland with a ranger.
Storyteller Pascal Konyn will lead a forest walk sharing folklore tales, on Sunday, at 1.30pm, and August 10 and 17.
A children's fun day will be held on Wednesday, July 30 followed by a two-day adventure roadshow on August 6 and 7.
