CONSULTANTS are being called in to restore one of the region's ageing conference centres into a world-class attraction.
The Spa Conference Centre, in Scarborough, is one of the seaside town's key buildings set to benefit from the Government's Urban Renaissance scheme.
Scarborough Borough Council is working with Yorkshire Forward to ensure the rebirth of the Spa as the premier conference centre on the East Coast.
Leading architects Derek Latham have been asked to carry out a £34,600 study, which will provide the framework for future development work.
