A NORTH-EAST actress has landed her first professional role on the London stage.
Sharon Jones will appear in the comedy drama TAJ at the Gatehouse Theatre, in Highgate, from August 5 to 16.
The 30-year-old, who has previously had a walk-on part in TV's The Bill, grew up in Newton Aycliffe, Darlington and Richmond and attended Darlington Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College before going to Bristol University.
