PUPILS at a Darlington school took delivery of new play equipment thanks to fundraising efforts by a local firm.
Youngsters at Skerne Park Primary School were presented with a log train and equipment for a story-telling area by staff from mobile phone company Orange.
The firm raised £2,000 to help give pupils an imaginative play area for break times.
Headteacher Diana Teasdale said: "Play is very important for children and is essential to their social and personal development.
"An attractive and stimulating play area encourages youngsters to learn to play together with consideration for others."
