A SCHOOL has won an award from Middlesbrough Football Club's Willie Maddren Centre, after taking part in a homework competition.
St Peter's RC School, in South Bank, won the contest and received a signed football shirt and a certificate to mark the achievement.
As part of their prize, pupils will spend a day with the Middlesbrough Football in the Community Project, taking part in physical activities at the community centre in Eston, followed by academic sessions in the club's Willie Maddren Centre.
