Children can still sign up for places on cycling proficiency workshops in Chester-le-Street.
Police are running the free courses for children aged nine and upwards in the car park of the town's Civic Centre on Sundays.
Afternoon courses take place on Sunday and August 3, August 10 17, 24 and 31 and September 7 and 14.
Enrolment forms are available from Chester-le-Street police station.
