The judging for the Chester-le-Street in Bloom competition will take place in Front Street, at 10am today.
Residents are invited to watch the judging, which will be led by Alan Capper, of Newcastle, who has twice won a medal at the Chelsea Flower Show
The winner will receive a weekend stay at Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street.
