A photographic exhibition is to be held between Tuesday and Thursday, August 12 to 14, at Saltburn Community and Arts main hall.

Cath and Tony Lynn will present an exhibition of images from their photographic collection of east Cleveland from 1pm to 5pm on the Tuesday, 10am to 7pm on the Wednesday, and 10am to 4pm on the Thursday. Admission is free, although there will be a voluntary collection with all proceeds going to the Saltburn Community and Arts Association.

Reporter's surgery: Reporter Katie Barlow will be at Yarm Library tomorrow, from 10am to noon. Anyone who has a story to tell, whether it be a local concern or a family member's achievement, is invited to come along and meet her.

Charity tea: Wolviston Court Townswomen's Guild is holding a charity tea at the Community Centre, Wolviston Court, Billingham on August 19, from 2pm to 3.30pm. All proceeds will go to the Butterwick Hospice.

Kite Day: A kite day has been organised at Grangefield School, in Stockton, on Sunday, between 11am and 5pm. The event is free and will feature leading kite flyers as well as stalls selling kites, refreshments and a children's fairground. Children may also bring along their teddy bear for the teddy parachute jump. Parking will be available.

Coffee break: Newcomen Methodist Church, in Mersey Road, Redcar, is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, between 10am and 11.30am, to raise money for the church funds. There will also be stalls, including cards for all occasions and home-made cakes and pastries on sale. Admission is 50p.

Railwau show: A model railway exhibition by the Cleveland Model Railway Club will be presented at Redcar and Cleveland College, in Redcar Lane, Redcar, on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17, from 10am until 5pm. Admission is £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for children and senior citizens. Family tickets cost £6.50.
