YOUNGSTERS on Teesside have been given the chance to explore the river during the long, hot summer.
Activity workers for Stockton Borough Council's Xplore programme are working with eight to 16-year-olds throughout the holidays.
This week, they took to the River Tees to try canoeing, kayaking and sailing at the Castlegate Quay Watersports Centre, in Stockton.
