SUMMER SHOW: A family show with static displays, side shows, trade stands, fun fair, showjumping and arena events takes place at Preston Hall and Park, from Friday to Monday, August 22 to 25.

CHARITIES BENEFIT: Staff and inmates at Kirklevington Grange, Yarm, have boosted the funds of local charities. They donated £100 each to Heartstart, Special Needs Grangetown, Special Needs Grangetown concert party, Special Needs Skelton and Aid to Poland. A further £50 was given to Cleveland Search and Rescue team, Stockton Butterwick Children's Hospice, and St Cuthbert's Lourdes appeal.

NOTICE BOARD: The parish council notice board is sited in the Safeway store. A second notice board is to be installed at the community hall, next to Beckfields Avenue.

COUNCIL MEETINGS: Parish council meetings are held at 7pm on the third Wednesday of each month in the meting room at St Francis of Assisi Church Centre, Barwick Way.

YARM REDS: Family-orientated supporters' club Yarm Reds holds monthly meetings attended by Middlesbrough Football Club representatives, at the Layfield Arms, in Davenport Road.
