Skelton and Brotton annual produce show will be held on Saturday, August 23, at Skelton Civic Hall.

There will be classes for flowers, vegetables, home baking, handicrafts and photography as well as classes for the children. Entries will be accepted from 9am to 10.30am and the event will be open to the public from 12.30pm. For more information, call (01287) 653848.

STILL PRESIDENT: Ruth Mather is to continue at president of Saltburn's Inner Wheel Club. Meanwhile, the club has sent cheques to James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, which was granted £600, Community Nursing, £150 and Teesside Hospice, £25. Donations have also been given to the Inner Wheel District Chairman's Charity, the Inner Wheel Overseas Chairman's Charity and to Saltburn in Bloom.

MUSEUM DANCE: The Tom Leonard Mining Museum in Skinningrove, has been chosen as one of the venues for Saltburn Folk Festival. The Scarborough White Rose Dancers, Locos in Motion and Dutch group Rolling Home will entertain in the museum courtyard tomorrow. Admission is free.
