POLICE are growing concerned for the welfare of a teenage girl who has been missing for a week.
Coi Kamall was last seen by her flatmate in Byker, Newcastle, last Friday, but not reported as missing until Tuesday.
Coi, who is 16 but looks older, is black, 5ft 8in, with a medium build, brown eyes and dark shoulder-length hair. She took clothing with her, but did not tell her flatmate she was leaving.
A police spokesman said Coi, a part-time college student, is known to socialise on Newcastle Quayside.
