CAMERONS is hoping to capitalise on the US's love of lager.
The Hartlepool brewer has just shipped a container of Scorpion Lager to the US.
Mike Berriman, marketing director at Camerons, said: "British brewers expect to have some success when exporting ales to the US, but shipping a genuine UK lager is very much a novelty and demonstrates the quality of the liquid and the new packaging.
"The US is strategically important to our overall export plan and I am delighted that we have secured such a large order for Scorpion Lager within weeks of sending out our first container of Camerons Strongarm."
