THE work of talented artists will be going on show this weekend.
An exhibition of work by some of York's adult education tutors is on show at Bedern Hall, St Andrewgate, from today until Friday.
The exhibition, called Creativity in the City, celebrates the artist as a tutor, and showcases the work of 18 artists and craftsmen, all of whom share their skills and knowledge with students on the adult education courses.
Items on display will include painting and prints, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture and photography.
Adult community education officer Mike Cooper said: "This is a great opportunity to see the creations of some of our adult education teachers.
"Many of these people will have helped hundreds of local residents develop their artistic talents and it's a chance to see what the tutors own work is like."
