PATIENTS at Darlington's St Teresa's Hospice have stars in their eyes when they relax in the bath.

Nightsky Ceilings has installed a hand-painted mural of the night sky in the hospice's bathroom.

The company is also donating 20 per cent of its profits from July and this month to the hospice.

Hospice director Jane Bradshaw said: "This is a wonderful addition to our facilities. Imagine how relaxing it is to lie in a warm bath, surrounded by candles and looking up at the shining stars.

"We are so grateful to Nightsky Ceilings for both their practical and financial donation to the hospice."

Russell Park, from Nightsky Ceilings, said: "I am delighted to be able to help St Teresa's Hospice in this way and I am sure the mural will give the guests hours of pleasure."
