THE owners of two dogs, which were stolen along with a pick-up truck, have appealed for their safe return.
They were in a Mitsubishi vehicle which was taken from Crathorne, near Yarm, on Saturday afternoon.
One dog, a black Labrador, was discovered in the Albert Hill area of Darlington, but a golden Labrador and a black and white springer spaniel are still missing.
Jane Strickland, whose boyfriend Peter Hugill owns the working dogs, appealed for them to be returned.
"The dog we have got back could have been left for about 40 hours, but the others weren't there. We just want them back," she said.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the dogs can contact Mr Hugill on (01642) 701119.
