DETECTIVES were last night trying to make contact in Lithuania with the family of a 27-year-old woman who was found hanged in front of city centre offices.
A police spokesman said the woman was found at the back of the Ridley Place building, in Newcastle, at 6.30am on Thursday.
He said: "Although there were no suspicious circumstances involved, we want to hear from anyone who may have information about her."
The woman was 5ft 5in and had mousy fair hair.
She was wearing a black sports top, black tracksuit bottoms which had three stripes down the outside legs and white Reebok trainers.
