A TEENAGER denied a charge of causing suffering to animals when he appeared before Guisborough magistrates yesterday.
David Lorraines, 19, from St Cuthbert's Walk, Liverton Mines, near Saltburn, east Cleveland, also pleaded not guilty to failing to feed domestic fowl a wholesome diet. The case was adjourned until Wednesday, October 29.
