A two-year A-level theatre studies course is under way.
The free course covers aspects of theatre, including practical work, studies of plays and theatre criticism.
It is open to those wanting to progress to degree level and also people who want to study theatre, without taking the final A-level exam.
Classes will be held at Chester-le-Street Community Centre on Wednesdays, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
