A DARLINGTON community group has been given a £1,200 boost to continue its work.
The Skerne Park Community Enterprise Association was awarded the grant by the Abbey National Charitable Foundation.
The windfall will be used to carry on the services which the Chatterbox Caf, in Coleridge Gardens, provides to local residents.
It offers a meeting place, as well as training courses to help people looking to get into work.
The group's employment co-ordinator supports clients in searching for jobs, making applications and preparing curriculum vitae.
