A training organisation has been selected for a £1,000 award for improving adult basic skills.
City Centre Training, in Riverside Park, Middlesbrough, was one of ten national winners chosen from 79 entries for the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education awards.
The awards will be presented at a national ceremony in London as part of a "Sign up Now" campaign to encourage more adults to pursue education.
