ENERGY workers will be taking a coffee break with a difference, for the Macmillan Cancer Relief's World's Biggest Coffee Morning tomorrow.
Npower staff will be raising cuppas at centres across the UK, including Teesside.
Elaine Midwinter, npower's Health Through Warmth scheme manager, said: "By taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning tomorrow, everyone can do their bit to help Macmillan be there for the one million people currently living with cancer in the UK.
"This event is open to everyone and we are trying to encourage people from Middlesbrough to come along and join in the fun events happening all over the region, or to even hold their own coffee mornings, whether that's at the office, at home, at school or in the community."
Joanna Sidley, corporate development manager at Macmillan Cancer Relief, said: "The money will help us to develop our cancer care services, which bring specialist care, emotional warmth, quality information and even direct financial help to those who need it."
* An all-day coffee morning takes place at the vicarage in Church Drive, Boosbeck, east Cleveland tomorrow, staged by vicar's wife Audrey Norris.
