New club Tindale WMC have got their season off to a good start, they visited another new side Darlington Archdeacon and came out 6-1 victors.

After a very good tight first half when the sides finished all square at 1-1 Archdeacon couldn't keep up the pace in the second and as they tired Tindale took control, Paul Hobbs and Paul Foster both hit a brace with the other two coming from Andrew Fairley and Ashley Wilson, Ian Thompson was on target for the 'Deacon.

Darlington Travellers Rest went to Chilton and claimed all three points in the last five minutes against the Community College. A long range effort by Chris Chapman gave the College an interval lead, Ryan Sandick levelled only for Richard Hooper to regain the lead for College, Sandick hit his second with Mattie Cole snatching the third.

Another side to come good late in the game was Darlington The Mowden on their visit to Shildon Elm Road WMC. James Jones opened for Elm Road with Gary Varty levelling with a 25 yarder. In the second Thomas Loudon struck for Elm Road then with 15 minutes remaining the game was transformed as Mowden struck four times through Varty, Callum Reilly, Ritchie Dodsworth and Adam Wilson to seal a 5-2 win.

There was a well-matched encounter at Hurworth where Emerson Arms took on Stillington The Royal with the game ending all square at 1-1. Royal took the lead midway through the first when a Lee O'Connell shot was deflected in, five minutes into the second Emerson hit back with Kelvin Russell putting the teams on level terms.

Darlington Dalesman, without a proper keeper, paid dearly against Darlington Stadia who rattled in seven in both halfs. It was seven all round for Stadia as Lee Hammond led the charge with seven goals, Fred Hall notched four with one apiece for Paul Hope, Scott Davison and Martin Webster, Mike Longstaff (2) and Richard Maurice replied for Dalesman.

Darlington GSOB called on veteran Peter Turnbull to shore up their defence as they struggled to field a side, they still had too much experience and overcame Darlington Skerne Park 4-1 with goals from Simon Howell, Sam Nattrass Matt Leadbeatter and Ben Aisbitt, both Aisbitt and Leadbeatter had very good games for the Old Boys, for Skerne Park Chris White scored their consolation.
