Barnard Castle 1 v 6 Killinghall Arms: Killie returned to something like true form and took an early lead but were pegged back when Ben Rathbone levelled.

Hesitancy cost Barney dear and they fell two behind when keeper Pritchard lost the ball and his defence leaked a further goal before half-time. Killie added two more after the break but Barney never gave up. Scorers for Killie Phil Reynolds (2), Danny Fleary (2), Dave Barkley, Gary Alford.

East End WMC 3 v 2 Hole in the Wall

East End took the lead via a Mark Maddison penalty but were pegged back when Gary Wilson scored from a narrow angle.

Maddison notched his second to restore the lead but on half-time man of the match Kevin Myers headed home Robbie Dodsworth's corner to level.

The decisive goal came five minutes into the second half when Mark Maddison completed his hat-trick. Wall pressed but squandered what chances came their way as Clubmen's defence held firm.

Grey Horse 6 v 1 DGSOB

Old Boys led after 50 seconds through Peter Gray but two 30-yard strikes from Peter Gormley put Horse in front and they stamped their authority in the second half scoring four times without reply. Old Boys were saved from a bigger defeat by some excellent saves from veteran keeper and Man of the Match Steve Chandler. Gormley completed his hat-trick for Horse and other scorers were Darren Tate (2) and Andrew Wetherell.

Fox and Hounds 3 v 3 Newt. Aycliffe

Aycliffe led 3-0 at the interval with goals from Wilson Wills, Anthony Campbell and David Brassell but Fox came back in the second half to earn their first points of the season.

Shuttle and Loom 0 v 6 Greyhound

The scores were level until the 65th minute when Peter Robson headed home.

Five minutes later Michael Armstrong added a second and then in the last ten minutes Armstrong and Robson got their second goals and Tom Wilkinson and Gavin Hall completed a remarkable bout of finishing.
