Wensleydale juniors have just started their 11th season.
Their membership has grown steadily to the current level where they now have 85 junior members from the ages of six to 15 playing or training every Sunday at Leyburn.
The children, trained and coached by a team of RFU approved coaches, recently played an exhibition match at Headingley.
As one of four Yorkshire youth teams taking part the Under-9s played during half-time of a Leeds Tykes game.
As well as locally the club has junior members from as far afield as Thirsk, Richmond and Northallerton but are actively trying to recruit more children to join the club and would welcome any children and their parents to see what the club can offer.
