GAYLE Mule Cup, awarded for the top-priced Mule gimmer lambs bred in the Gayle area of Wensleydale, was won this year by C and M Hugill, whose lambs sold for £91 at the September two-day sale at Hawes mart.
Second was last year's winner, N and T M Iveson, whose lambs made £90, and third was S Alderson, whose lambs made £86.
