RESIDENTS of one of the region's prisons joined the attempt on the record for the world's biggest coffee morning.
Women at Askham Grange invited the local community to join them, as they served coffee and cakes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.
An estimated 1.5 million people are thought to have taken part around the UK, taking the total raised in the past 13 years to more than £20m.
