Barnard Castle 0, Grey Horse 4.: Michael Weston put Grey Horse ahead in the first few minutes but it wasn't until the second half that a second from Weston and a Dave Palmer effort immediately after half time finally broke Barney's resistance.

Barney's Man of the Match Ben Rathbone wasn't without chances but a Gary Donald strike sealed a good win for an improving Horse side.

East End WMC 2, Shuttle & Loom 3

A Darren Watson brace for the Clubmen was insufficient to prevent old rivals Shuttle taking all three points courtesy of goals from Peter Wilkinson (2) and Scott Boyce. John Wray was outstanding for the winners.

Hole in the Wall 2, Newton Aycliffe 1

The first half was evenly contested until Robbie Dodsworth latched onto a long ball and lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box. Stand-in keeper David Abdale then excelled to maintain the lead. The second half saw Hole steadily gain the upper hand and Gary Wilson finished off a Kevin Myers run when he shot home from the edge of the box. Dave Todd then came close to extending the lead when his shot at the end of an individual run struck the base of the post. With time running out Aycliffe stepped up the pressure to preserve their unbeaten record and were rewarded when Aaron Duff took advantage of a defensive error to score. Hole successfully defended their lead in the last five minutes to take the points and move into nosebleed territory in the table viz. second place.

Four clubs were on Auckland Charity Cup duty. Old Boys were no match for a very competent West Auckland Queens Head and went down 6-0 whilst Greyhound defeated Crook District League leaders Bishop Rugby Club 4-0. Killinghall Arms were the League's other victors beating fellow league representatives Fox and Hounds 5-0.
