THE Boat House at Waterside in Knaresborough has been declared a serious risk to health and safety.
It has fallen into such a state of disrepair that a £52,000 revamp is needed, a council report concludes.
Harrogate Borough Council officers are recommending the building be completely rewired, have the roof replaced and a new concrete floor put in.
A spokesman said: "It is in danger of serious structural failure and requires work done as a matter of urgency."
