Armley Angling Centre's Steve Beckwith recorded the best weight of the day ten chub for 26.10.0 to more than double the next man.

Steve was delighted to draw peg 211 at the bottom of the Willowgarth, a noted area of late.

Pegged on the Palace bend roach and perch proved the mainstay all falling to pole and caster tactics.

Presenting the pole at 11 metres and offering maggot and squat, roach were keen to oblige off peg 412.
