ENTERPRISING youngsters have helped to raise £300 for Children in Need.
Pupils at Hurworth Primary School, near Darlington, came up with a series of fund-raising ideas to boost the annual BBC appeal.
Headteacher Mark Allison said a host of events, including several sponsored silences, led to the impressive figure being raised.
Among the participants were Jessica Atkinson and Catherine Holme, pictured above, who were handcuffed together for a day.
